The Copenhagen Light Festival celebrates light and all its beauty in the midst of a cold Denmark winter. The installations placed around the inner city showcase balance and respect to darkness and minimalistic beauty, all things I wanted to capture in my logo redesign. Taking inspiration from the outside world and considering light and its functions lead me to my logo redesign. The CPH Light Festival logo remains clean and minimal but can speak to the many aspects of the natural world such as, light refraction, the moon and its glow, jellyfish, or bioluminescent plankton.
